Abstract
*ABSTRACT*
This study focuses on the extraction of essential oils from Mentha spicata (mint leaf) and Ocimum gratissimum (scent leaf). The extracted oils were analyzed for their yield, chemical composition, and potential uses. The results showed significant differences in the oil yields and compositions between the two plant species. The essential oils exhibited promising antimicrobial and antioxidant activities, suggesting their potential applications in pharmaceutical, food, and cosmetic industries. The study highlights the value of these plant species as sources of valuable essential oils.
