Abstract
ABSTRACT Lead exposure causes oxidative stress, inflammation, and DNA fragmentation. Immune boosters (vitamins, minerals, herbal supplements) enhance immune response and exhibit antioxidant properties, potentially mitigating lead's harmful effects. Recent studies show immune boosters reduce DNA fragmentation index, protecting hepatic cells from oxidative damage. KEYWORDS: immune booster, lead, liver
