Investigating the Durability and Service Life of Orle and Ogio River Bridge

Abstract
ABSTRACT The Ogio river Bridge is a new structure that was just constructed few years back due to the failure of the old Ogio bridge and the Orle River Bridge is an aging structure that have been subjected to a range of defects, such as corrosion, delamination, and spalling that threatens the integrity and safety of the bridge. This project work presents an investigation of the durability and service life of those bridges. The investigation employs a variety of techniques, including visual inspection, Schmidt Rebound hammer testing, and core sampling, to assess the extend and safety of the defect based on the findings. The project purposes an investigation on the durability and service life of the bridge.
