Abstract
The research work was carried out to produce and extract biopigment from Pseudomonas species, Bacteria such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa that produces blue-green pigment and Pseudomonas putida that produces yellow-green pigment isolated and identified. A bacterial sample cafeteria C1 has the highest number of Colony Count of 9.36 x 104 , and Male hostel A2 which has the lowest count of 1.06 x 106 . Pseudomonas aeruginosa produces pigment as a result of synthesis of pyocyanin while Pseudomonas putida produces as a result of synthesis of pyoverdine.
