Effect of Supergro Liquid Organic Fertilizer Application and Transplanting Age on the Fruit Yield of Tomatoes

ABSTRACT The study on the effect of SuperGro liquid organic fertilizer application and transplanting age on the fruit yield of tomatoes has shown significant insights into how these two factors influence tomato growth and productivity. Based on the findings; The use of SuperGro liquid organic fertilizer had a positive impact on the growth and fruit yield of tomatoes. It enhanced nutrient availability, improved plant vigor, and resulted in better fruit set, increased fruit size, and overall higher yields compared to non-fertilized plants. The application of organic fertilizers likely contributed to improving soil health, microbial activity, and nutrient uptake. Transplanting age also had a notable effect on the yield of tomatoes. Transplanting seedlings at an optimal age (usually between 2–4 weeks) resulted in better establishment, stronger root systems, and more vigorous plant growth. The findings revealed that there was a synergistic effect observed when both appropriate transplanting age and SuperGro fertilizer were combined. Optimal transplanting age along with regular applications of SuperGro fertilizer produced the highest fruit yields, indicating that both factors complement each other in improving tomato productivity. Based on the study's findings, recommendations are made that to maximize tomato yield, farmers should consider using SuperGro liquid organic fertilizer as part of a balanced fertility program. Regular applications, as per manufacturer guidelines, should be implemented to support plant growth and fruit development. The use of organic fertilizers is recommended as it improves soil health in the long term, reducing reliance on chemical fertilizers.
