Abstract
Abstract The finding reveals the crude oil obtained result shows the Saponification value to be 1.200±0.300 Iodine value t 1.033±0.153 and Acid value 31.467±0.551 while the PH is 6.223±6.000. This indicated the high content of acid value. The low content of Saponification value shows it may be useful in making it a good source of oil for soap making. The PH shows that it is slightly acidic in nature which support the high acid value, meanwhile Saponification and iodine are relatively low, which shows that is not a good source of oil for soap making and consumption.
