Abstract
ABSTRACT The purpose of this project is to study on the synthesis of silver nanoparticles in watermelon rinds. The synthesis of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) using natural, sustainable, and cost-effective resources has garnered significant attention in recent years due to their wide range of applications in various fields, including, medicine, electronic, and environmental sciences. This study investigates the use of watermelon rind extract as a reducing and stabilizing agent in the environmentally friendly manufacture of silver Nano particles. An environmentally friendly substitute for traditional chemical procedure is watermelon rind. Some agricultural waste rich in phytochemicals that aid in the conversion of silver ion (Ag+) to silver Nano particles (Ag°). In the synthesis of AgNPs with plant sources, leaves, fruits, flowers, roots of the plant are used. Phytochemicals found in the leaves, fruits, flowers and roots of the plant in the synthesis of AgNPs with plant sources are bioactive products. Bioactive compounds such as aromatic compounds, alcohol etc. The optical, structural and morphological characteristics of the produce silver nanoparticle (AgNPs) were assessed by means of methods including: Ultra Violet Visible (UV-vis.), Frontier Transfer Infrared (FTIR), X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) analysis data. The findings showed that watermelon rind extract could successfully create spherical, stable silver Nano particles with an average size of [insert range of sizes here] nm. Furthermore, the produce AgNPs antibacterial activity was evaluated against prevalent bacteria stain showing encouraging potential for use in biomedical applications. In addition to offering sustainable method for producing Nano particles, the study emphasizes the usefulness of agriculture waste in creation of sophisticated materials.
