Assessment of the Adequacy of Physics Laboratory Apparatus in Public Senior Secondary Schools in Suleja Town

Abstract

The study investigated adequacy of Physics laboratory apparatus in Suleja town, purposive and random sampling of 150 physics teachers were adopted as respondents and research samples in the study. A structured questionnaire was used as instrument for data collection administered to the respondents through paper and pencil method to fill and return to the reseurchers on the spot. Simple percentages were used as method of data analysis and results presented in tabular forms. The result of the study shows that the schools in Suleja town have no adequate apparatus on magnetism, mechanics and some schools have no physies laboratories. The study recommended adequate funding of schools and increase of physics apparatus to the affected schools.
