Abstract

ABSTRACT This study focuses on the design and production of an office chair and table using a combination of MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) wood, glass, and denim fabric. The aim is to create functional and aesthetically pleasing office furniture that combines durability, comfort, and modern design elements. The selection of MDF wood provides a sturdy and eco-friendly foundation, while glass adds a sleek, contemporary touch to the design. Denim fabric, known for its durability and unique texture, is used as an innovative upholstery material to enhance comfort and introduce a creative twist to conventional office furniture. The study covers the entire process, from material selection and design considerations to construction techniques and final production. Key aspects such as ergonomics, structural integrity, and visual appeal are carefully balanced to ensure that the final product meets the needs of a modern office environment. The research also delves into the sustainability of the materials used, highlighting their impact on both the environment and user experience. The outcome of this project is expected to contribute to the growing demand for sustainable and stylish office furniture, offering a fresh perspective on the use of unconventional materials in office settings. This study serves as a valuable resource for designers, architects, and manufacturers seeking to explore innovative solutions in furniture design.
