Abstract

ABSTRACT The Topic of this research is the Impact of Staff Motivation on the Academic Performance of Business Education Students in Federal College of Education Eha-Amufu in Isi-Uzo Local Government Area of Enugu State. The general purpose of this study is to examine the impact of Staff Motivation on the Academic Performance of Business Education Students in Federal College of Education Eha-Amuf, Isi-Uzo Local Government Area of Enugu State. The population of the study consist of Business Education Teaching Staff and was used as the sample size since it is manageable. Four research questions were formulated from the purpose of the study. Data were collected using questionnaires. Validation of instruments was carried out by three experts. Two from the department and one from measurement and evaluation. The questionnaires were administered to the lecturers in Business Education Department and was collected by the researcher when they were done filling. The reliability of the instrument was tested using Cronbach Alpha. The result from 0.6-0.9 show that the instrument was reliable but, 0.1-0.4 shows that it is not reliable then it will be reconstructed for reliability. Data was analyzed using mean and standard deviation through the SPSS Software Application.
