Abstract
ABSTRACT
The present study was on the evaluation of physiochemical properties and heavy metal contents of crude oil polluted soils amended with Calopogonium muconoides and Tithonia diversifolia.Top soil (0-20cm) was collected to form a composite soils samples from which four (4) kilograms each was weighed into 30 perforated labelled plastic buckets. 27 of the 30 plastic buckets were polluted with 100ml of crude oil mixed thoroughly with the soil and allowed for 14 days,soil acclamitization after which the amendments ( Calopogonium muconoides Tithonia and diversifolia) were added to the soil in single and combined forms.
