Abstract

A game resort center is a place where people can go to enjoy various recreational activities like indoor and outdoor adventures. As tourism plays a significant role in fostering economic development and preserving cultural heritage, a game resort center, specifically designed for recreation, wildlife viewing, and cultural experiences, provides a unique opportunity for both locals and tourists to engage with nature and the rich history of the region. Recognizing the untapped potential for eco-tourism in Benin City, Edo State, I have undertaken the design of a comprehensive game resort center aimed at enhancing both the recreational and educational experiences of visitors. Through detailed case studies, site evaluations, and journal review, this game resort center is designed to offer a sustainable model for tourism development that benefits the local community while preserving the natural environment. By the end of this project, the game resort center should serve as a blueprint for similar developments across the country. I recommend that state governments and private stakeholders consider adopting this model to boost tourism, generate employment, and address future challenges in sustainable tourism.
