The population consisted of ten public secondary schools and 3729 students in the schools. The sample for the study consisted of 200 students found in intact classes of the nine public secondary schools chosen for the study using simple random sampling technique to select 20 students from each school. Questionnaire was used as instruments for data collection. The instrument was titled ‘School Facilities and Students Academic Performance Questionnaire (SFSAPQ)’. The face and content validity of the instrument was confirmed by the researcher’s supervisor and experts in department of Business education. Their comments helped to determine the face and content validity of the instrument, as well as the appropriateness of the items of the instrument. Cronbach Alpha reliability coefficient test was used to determine the reliability which yielded the coefficient of 0.97. The data generated for this study were analyzed using both descriptive and inferential statistics. Descriptive statistics such as simple percentage, chart, mean and standard deviation were used to analyze the research questions while inferential statistics such as Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation Analysis was used to test all formulated hypotheses at 0.05 level of significance. The results showed that there is significant relationship between school building and students’ academic performance; there is relationship between school library and students’ academic performance; there is relationship between classroom physical environment and students’ academic performance; relationship between ICT laboratories and students’ academic performance public secondary schools in Ekiti State. It was therefore recommended that: school building should be properly maintained and the damaged parts should be reconstructed to encourage effective learning and improved academic performance among students. Also, school buildings should be given higher and priority so that students might avail of their opportunities in the well-built building for their better academic achievement; Government should provide adequate library materials for all Secondary Schools to be used in teaching and learning. Also Government at all levels should provide sufficient funds for schools to enable them purchase library materials in print and electronics. Classrooms should be well-organised, equipped and facilitated with all the supportive materials (learning resources including A.V aids, and multimedia, and Physical resources like furniture) to increase students’ motivation and active participation in activities that may lead them towards higher achievement. Teachers should employ ICT in teaching of secondary school students. ICT and other teachers should be taken on board in all schools on priority basis and should be given special training. It is strongly recommended that the infrastructure of the schools should be designed in such a way that ICT could be used successfully.
