Assessing the Factors of Production on the Profitability of an Enterprise in Kaduna

This study is to assess the factors of production on the profitability of an enterprises in Kaduna. Objective is to evaluate the effectiveness of current resource allocation and management strategies in optimizing profitability, to examine the relationship between that factors of production and profitability, including interaction and synergies, to investigate how changes in market conditions, consumer demand, ad technological advancement effects the factors of production and profitability. Research method, the area of this study covers hospitality industries in Kaduna State, Five hotels from Kaduna Metropolis with the population of 250 people: The instrument used for data collection was questionnaire. Simple random sampling technique was used, 15% of the population was adopted with 120 questionnaires were administered and 200 were retrieved with 50 not returned. The findings are expected to provide valuable insights for businesses seeking to improve their financial performance by better managing production factors, adapting to changing market dynamics, and refining resource allocation strategies. It was recommended enterprises should focus on efficient allocation and management of land, labor, capital, and entrepreneurship, labor is a critical factor of production, and investing in workforce skills can enhance productivity and profitability and businesses should continually assess technological advancements in their industry and adopt tools that improve operational efficiency, online processes, and enhance product quality.
