ABSTRACT
This study sought to investigate the “impact of Asset Management practices on the
Performance of Nigerian Manufacturing firms”. Ex-post research design was employed while
data were collected from 10 manufacturing firms quoted on the Nigeria group exchange as
at 2022. Data collected were presented in tables and analysed using descriptive statistics
while the individual properties of the variables like mean, median and standard deviation
were examined to test for multi-collinearity. The study found that Total asset turnover does
not have significant effect on performance of Nigerian Manufacturing firm; inventory turnover
does not av significant effect on performance of Nigerian manufacturing firms. The study
concluded that the manufacturing sector is an economically viable sector that need all
attention to make it contribute to economic development of Nigeria. The study recommend
that management of Manufacturing firms should continue to adopt modern techniques of
asset management turnover by concentrating on the size and value of their total asset so as
to raise the level of performance; manufacturing firm should give ,ore attention to managing
inventory turnover in their operations to avoid tying down working capital and problem of wastages associated with materials
