Design and Implementation of Student Information Management System

Abstract

Keeping track of students information and accessing it when needed can be quite difficult and challenging; hence the requirement for a system to store and manage such important credentials.
The student information management system was designed using the Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) methodology. The system was developed using PHP and MySQL for the database while HTML, CSS, JavaScript was used to develop the interface. Its friendly user interfaces allow system administrator and students to handle the registration of students, uploading of courses, registration of courses by student and viewing of results in a convenient, efficient, and simplified manner. The aim of this study was to create a student information management system to facilitate easy access of student information by the department.
