The study investigated school environment and teachers’ job performance in senior secondary school in Obanliku Local Government Area of Cross River State, Nigeria. In all, four research questions and four hypotheses guided the study. The Ex-Post Facto research design was adopted for the study. One hundred (100) teachers from the population of 210 teachers were selected from 20 secondary schools, through stratified and simple random sampling techniques constituted the sample of the study. A researcher structured 20-items four point scale questionnaire tagged: School Environment and Teacher Job Performance Questionnaire (SETJPQ) was constructed by the researcher and used to collect data for the study. The instruments were subjected to face validity. Data obtained for the study were analyzed using Pearson Product Moment correlation. The null hypotheses were tested at 0.05 level of significance. The findings of the study revealed that conducive school environment, motivation, infrastructure and student-teacher relationship has a significant relationship with teachers’ job performance in senior secondary schools. Based on the findings, it was recommended among others that: the government and other educational stakeholders should endeavor to provide current infrastructures suitable for teaching and learning so as to encourage the teachers to be more effective in performing the job.
