Abstract
Alzheimer's disease (AD), a progressive neurodegenerative disease characterized by neuronal damage and cognitive decline, is primarily caused by inflammation and oxidative stress. The investigation of phytochemicals from medicinal plants has resulted from the search for natural bioactive compounds with therapeutic potential against Alzheimer's disease. Through biochemical analyses of the brain, kidney, and liver in an experimental rat model, this study seeks to determine the phytochemical composition of Sorghum Bicolor (L.) Moench and its possible therapeutic effects on Alzheimer's disease. 21 Wistar rats in all (n=3 per group) were split up into 7 experimental groups, which included a normal control group, groups with Alzheimer's disease, and treatment groups that got various plant extracts. After being exposed to arsenite, 18 Wistar rats were split up into treatment groups and given various extracts from the various plants that were chosen. Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST), Alanine Aminotransferase (ALT), Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP), Bilirubin (BIL), Superoxide Dismutase (SOD), DNA fragmentation, Gamma-glutamyl transferase (GAMMA'GT), and Albumin (ALB) were among the hematological, hepatic, and renal biomarkers evaluated in the study. One-way ANOVA was utilized for statistical analysis, with P
