Impact of Personal Selling on the Sales Volume of a Business Organization.

This research work is in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Award of Higher National Diploma in Business Administration and Management. The purpose of this project is to know the impact of pricing on the sales of beverages product with particular references to CADBURY (NIG) Plc. In addition, it also to investigates how price determines the volume of sales and market share of an organization. It is important because in the market today where there are similar products and fierce competition which often exists among the manufacturers of different product term of quality, quantity, branding and packaging, pricing, advertisement. Among others. This project work is arranged in chapters, for instance chapter one deals with introduction, statement of problem, purpose of study; significance of the study scope and limitation of study; research questions and hypothesis; Historical background, organizational chart of CADBURY (NIG) PLC and definition of term. Chapter two focuses on the literature review. Chapter three is about the research methodology" research design, study population, sampling procedure, data source, Research instrument and validity of the instrument data analysis and statement of hypothesis, chapter four deals with presentation and analysis of findings. Chapter five focuses on summary of findings, conclusion, recommendation and suggestion for further studies, bibliography and appendix. However, findings of the study revealed that there is a significant relationship between personal selling and sales volume of a business organization.
