The research investigated the effect of Non-financial motivation on employees’ performance in Ekiti State University Ado Ekiti, Ekiti state. Nigeria. The study was anchored on Maslow’s hierarchy of Needs Theory and Human Relations Theory. A survey research method was used while questionnaire was adopted to elicit responses from 201 respondents out of 286 administered questionnaires of non-academics staff from Ekiti State University Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State. Nigeria. The collected data was analyzed using multiple regression analysis with the aid of computer software called Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). From the findings of the study, there were some non-financial motivators at the university, namely promotion, recognition, career development, extra leave. Based on the results obtained from the study, the researcher concluded that non-financial motivation are very important for organization growth, productivity and employees’ job place efficiency and effectiveness. From the results and conclusions drawn from the study, the researcher recommend that the management and employers should provide an effective non-financial motivational incentives and make sure employees are highly motivated and improve on their works so as to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
