Abstract
This study examined the relationship between job ethics, cultural differences, and team spirit among academic staff at Ekiti State University to investigate their impact on job effectiveness. The research employed a descriptive design using a questionnaire survey administered to a sample of 120 academic staff from a population of 1,500. The findings revealed that cultural differences, job ethics, and team spirit have a significant positive impact on job effectiveness, with cultural differences exhibiting the strongest influence, followed by job ethics, and then team spirit. The study concludes that academic institutions should prioritize cultural diversity, promote ethical behaviour, and foster teamwork to enhance job effectiveness. Recommendations include implementing policies and programs that promote cultural awareness, establishing clear codes of conduct and ethics, and providing team-building initiatives and programs.
