Work-Related Flow as a Moderator of the Relationship Between Challenging Job Demands and Wor-Life Balance Among University Undergraduate Students.

The study investigated the moderating role of work-related flow on the relationship between challenging job demand and work-life balance. This survey study was carried out using self-report questionnaire which was distributed among 98 sample size with the age of 18-30 years including male and females. The instrument that measures challenging job demand, work-life balance and work-related flow were administered to the respondents and moderated regression analysis was used in the statistical analysis. The following hypothesis were tested in this study; challenging job demand relates negatively to work-life balance, challenging job demands relate positively to work-related flow, work-related flow relates positively to work-life balance, work-related flow moderates the relationship between challenging job demand and work life balance. The results showed that challenging job demands were positively associated with work-life balance, challenging job demands were positively related to work-related flow, work-related flow positively associated with work-life balance, the interaction between work-related flow and challenging job demands significantly moderated the relationship with work-life balance.
