Customer's Perception on Services on Hotels in Calabar Metropolis ,cross River State.

Abstract
Customers’ perception of services and products from hotels determines their level of patronage, repeat visit, retention and loyalty to hotels in Calabar. Therefore, the study seeks to evaluate the relationship between customers’ perceived value and satisfaction towards hotel services and products. The goal of the study were 6 selected hotels n Calabar Municipal. The Fruend and Williams formula was used to ascertain the sample size which was 126. A well structured questionnaire using the 5 point Likert scale was adopted as a method of data collection. The 126 sample size which was gotten was spread across the 6 selected hotels making each hotel entitled to 21 questionnaires to be filled by the guests. Out of 126 questionnaire, 5 questionnaires were not retrieved therefore the researcher worked with 121 retrieved questionnaire. Descriptive statistics was used in analyzing the demography data. The research hypotheses tested a positive relationship between the measures and dimensions of the research work using the Pearson Product Moment Correlation Technique. From the univarate analyses and test of hypotheses, it was concluded that there is a positive relationship between consumer perceived value and customer satisfaction. From the study result, it was recommended that hotel management should provide high premium services
