Effect of Reward System on Employees’ Performance in Manufacturing Organization (a Case of Tuyil Pharaceutical Company Ilorin, Kwara State)

This project focused on Effect of Reward System on Employee Performance in an Organizationwith special reference to manufacturing company. The objective of this study is to examine theeffect of reward system on employees performance in manufacturing organization. The researchdesign adopted was explanatory descriptive design in order to have insight into the effect of rewardsystem. The population of the study is the entire staff of Tuyil pharaceutical Company, Ilorin,kwara State while sample size consist of 30 workers from various department and they all possesequal chance of being selected. Data were gathered through personal interview andadministration of questionnaire. percentage method was used to analyzed data gathered andPerson Product Moment correlation was used to validate the hypothesis. The first hypothesistested revealed that appropriate implementation of remuneration on employees affect theirperformance. the second revealed that perceived adequate of remuneration on employee’ssignificantly influences the organization effectively and others revealed that staff remunerationpolicies do not affect labour turnover rate. It was concluded that remuneration is the brain behindemployees performance and recommended that employers should make remuneration packageattractive to motivate employees to improve in their performance.4TABLE OF CONTENT
