Abstract
The movie "Coming to America 1" holds a significant place in American cinema for its humor, cultural representation, and enduring popularity. Despite its acclaim, scholarly discourse lacks a thorough analysis of its production elements. This study aims to bridge that gap by comprehensively examining cinematography, sound design, production design, and costume design in the film. Through meticulous analysis, we aim to understand how these elements contribute to the overall cinematic experience and thematic resonance. By evaluating techniques and choices, we seek to enrich the discourse surrounding this iconic cinematic masterpiece. The research objectives include evaluating cinematography techniques, examining sound design's role, analyzing production design choices, and investigating costume design's significance. The study is guided by research questions focusing on the impact of these elements on storytelling, emotional tone, cultural authenticity, thematic depth, and collaborative processes involved in the film's production.
