Design and Implementation of a Mobile Application for Herbal Medicine

The rise of mobile technology offers significant opportunities to improve access to herbal
medicine by providing users with comprehensive, reliable, and user-friendly mobile applications.
This project proposes the development of a mobile app dedicated to herbal medicine. The app
will offer features such as a detailed herbal medicine directory, dosage calculators, personalized
recommendations, and user-friendly interfaces. The key objectives include providing users with
reliable information on the benefits, uses, and potential side effects of various herbal medicines,
as well as offering tools to assist in proper dosage calculation and personalized herbal remedy
suggestions. The proposed app aimed at enhancing the accessibility of herbal medicine,
empowering users with knowledge, and promote the safe and effective use of herbal remedies.
Challenges such as ensuring the accuracy of information and integrating user-friendly designs
will be addressed to make the app both functional and reliable. This project seeks to contribute
to the advancement of digital healthcare by harnessing mobile technology to promote the safe
and informed use of herbal medicine. Java which is an object oriented programming language is
selected as the programming language for the development while Google firebase database is
used for the backend and user data storage.
