Abstract
Abstract The aim and objectives of this project is to look into the likely effects of introduction of influence of industrial training scheme on the performance of employees in two business organizations in Osun State. Some years back, the concepts of training and development of employees were vaguely understood in most of our developing countries. While some are yet to find out what it is, all efforts to improve on productively yield no result. With the turn of events, and increased awareness both the developed and developing countries have come to appreciate the problem of employee development and training in many organizations. Therefore, it was concluded that the basic problem of developing countries is not lack of natural resources but the underdevelopment of their human resources. Industrial Training is the programme given to the employees in an organization in order to know the responsibilities of human resources development and how they will tackle their work/job. The main purpose of this research work is to find out the effect of Industrial Training Scheme on the effective performance of office managers in some selected business organizations. Based on the research carried out in this study, the following suggestions are made to bring out the best from secretaries. Employees of today should improve their knowledge from time to time by going for training. The private sector of the economy should help secretarial body to organize seminars and workshops to update the secretarial staff and keep them abreast of the profession and use of modern office machines
