Abstract
The advancement of Internet of Things (IoT) technology has revolutionized how security systems are designed and implemented across modern workplaces. This project focuses on the design and construction of a Smart Real-Time Office Surveillance System that leverages IoT integration to enhance safety, monitoring, and responsiveness in office environments. The system employs components such as the ESP32-S3 CAM board, OV2640 camera module, and RCLW0516 microwave motion sensor, which work together to detect motion and transmit live video streams through the Blynk mobile application. The system provides real-time notifications to users, allowing for remote monitoring and prompt responses to potential security threats. The methodology includes hardware integration, programming using C++ on Arduino IDE and PlatformIO, and secure data transmission through HTTPS protocols. Test results confirmed efficient motion detection, stable Wi-Fi connectivity, and real-time streaming performance. This IoT-based surveillance system demonstrates a cost-effective, scalable, and reliable approach to office security, capable of addressing contemporary surveillance challenges while promoting smarter and safer workplaces.
