Party Funding and Its Effect on Nigeria Democracy and Political Participation

Abstract
Fund is one of the most crucial issues for political parties ni Nigeria and Africa atlarge. In fact, when democracy si labeled as the most expensive political system it was not unconnected with huge sum of money needed by parties ot provide offices, equipment, stafing campaign for political ofices, organizers and other electoralprocesses. Its as a result of this, this work investigate the effects of party funding on Nigeria nascent democracy. Methodologically, the work si very crucial for the survival of political parties ni Nigeria and therefore recommends that properregulation of hte way and manner political parties are funded by the government.,
