Abstract
Agriculture faces significant challenges from pest infestations, which reduce crop yields and
affect food security. Traditional pest control methods often expose farmers to harmful
chemicals and rely on costly, fuel -based machinery. This project proposes the design and
development of a solar-powered, wireless-controlled agricultural pest control vehicle to
address these issues. The vehicle integrates a solar charging system, wireless, communication,
and efficient spraying mechanisms to provide an eco-friendly, cost-effective, and safe solution
for framers. The primary objectives include designing a prototype vehicle that utilizes clean
energy, incorporates wireless technology for remote operation, and minimizes risks associated
with chemical exposure. The study reviews fundamental concepts, including lithium batteries,
Arduino Nano controllers, motor driver, and submersible pumps, to ensure optimal
performance. A robust testing process demonstrated the system’s viability, highlighting its
efficiency in reducing operational costs and improving crop yields. This innovative approach
offers a scalable solution for sustainable agriculture, promotion environmental conversation
and enhancing the livelihoods of smallholder farmers. Recommendations for future
enhancements include integrating cameras for better navigation and satellite imaging for
extended operational range
