Impact of Motivation on Workers Performance in Kaduna State: a Case Study of Lere Local Government Area of Kaduna State

Abstract
ABSTRACTÂ The study assesses the impacts of motivation on workers performance in Lere Local Government of Kaduna State. The study reveals that motivation is a key driver of workers performance in Lere Local Government Area. The study adopted multi-stage and random sampling technique respectively. With a sample size 95, questionnaires were distributed to staff and employees of the various departments of Lere Local Government. Simple percentage method was used to analyse and interpret the results while the hypothesis were tested using SPSS. The findings of the study reveals a statistical relationship between the level of motivation and the performance of staff in Lere Local Government Area of Kaduna State, with P-value Less than 0.05 (0.0149< 0.05) level of significant. Similarly, motivational incentives such as salaries, training, promotion, fringe benefits and other allowances provided by management will commensurate with workers high performance as it indicates a statistical result with P-value Less than 0.05 (0.0139
