A researcher-developed questionnaire tagged “School Factors and Students Attitude towards Economics (SFEAS) Questionnaire” was used for data collection. Data generated were analyzed using independent t-test analysis. The study found that there is no significant influence on school location on students’ attitude towards Economics; a significant relationship existed between teaching methods adopted by Economics teachers and students’ attitude towards Economics, also a positive strong significant relationship between availability of physical facilities and academic performance of students in Economics in Uyo Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State was found. It is concluded that some school factors are more important than others in shaping the attitude of students towards Economics. The study thus recommends, among others, that government and Economics educators should focus more attention in providing necessary facilities and pedagogy to ensure students’ interest in Economics. Also, the State Ministry of Education should provide necessary materials and facilities which are needed for the implementation of Economics curriculum in schools.
