Impact of Cooperative Societies on the Welfare of Staff in Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo Ondo State

Abstract
ABSTRACTThis research was conducted to determine the impact of cooperative societies on the welfare of staff in Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo. A descriptive design was used to explore the issue in the study. The research instrument used was questionnaire. The total number of 60 staff was randomly selected from all member of staff in Adeyemi. In analyzing the collected data, simple percentage was used. Based on the result of the findings, it was discovered that the cooperative societies has positively Impacted the welfare of the staff in Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo. This study recommends that in order to get an equal distribution of dividend, ranking or monthly due ratio should be adopted as a method to evenly distribute dividend. In the course of the findings, majority of the respondents were satisfied with the current model adopted by the cooperative societies in meeting the welfare of its members. The allocation of loan disbursement by the cooperative societies was also found commendable by its members.
