Abstract
**ABSTRACT**Research on arthropod pests that visit neglected children below school age (0–5 years) revealed that lack of orientation and also educational level of people in Afrike Community is a major problem. As only 48% of the respondents have gone for a lab test and discovered that most diseases on the children are caused by these arthropods around them, while 52% have no idea, hence don’t believe that most diseases on their children are caused by these arthropods because they have never gone for a lab test. Also, the highest number of respondents, which was 41%, attained only SSCE level of education, while the least, which was only 1%, attained Ph.D. level of education, and 7% had no educational level.Studies show that the most abundant arthropod pest in the community is mosquitoes, which constitute 32.36% of pests found around the community by the respondents, and lice was the lowest number of arthropod pests by the respondents, which was just 5.82%
