Abstract
ABSTRACT
This research project investigates the Information resource development in academic library
a case study of Sa’adatu Rimi College. The objective of the study is to identify the types of
information resources acquired by Sa’adatu Rimi College.. The data were gotten from both
primary and secondary sources of data. The findings reveals Academic libraries follow
structured collection development policies to guide the selection, acquisition, and evaluation
of resources. These policies align with the institution’s curriculum and research needs. The
study recommended that, . Governments and academic institutions should allocate more
financial resources to support library acquisitions and digital infrastructure. Libraries
should expand digital collections, invest in open-access resources, and integrate artificial
intelligence for resource management.
