Workplace Ostracism and Employee Performance of Transport Companies in edo state

This study is centered on Workplace Ostracism and Employee Performance of transport Companies in Edo State using God is Good Mobility and Big Joe Motors. The specific objectives of this study are to determine if job tenure has any significant relationship with job contribution, to ascertain if ethnicity has any significant relationship on social interaction and to determine the significant relationship between gender and teamwork in God is Good Mobility and Big Joe Motors. Three hypotheses were drawn from the research questions and a self-administered questionnaire was used to measure the relationship between the variables using the filled questionnaires of 30 respondents in God is Good Mobility and Big Joe Motors, Edo state. The analysis of collected data was done through the simple percentage and used Pearson Product Moment Correlation Analysis. The study found that there is a positive relationship between job tenure, ethnicity, gender and teamwork respectively in God is Good Mobility and Big Joe Motors Edo state. Based on the findings, the researcher concluded that there exists a strong positive relationship between workplace ostracism and employee performance in God is Good Mobility and Big Joe Motors Edo state. It was therefore recommended that the stated firms should ensure to maximize employee job timeframe so as to increase the employee involvement, the stated firms should encourage freedoms of teamwork between different ethnicity to enhance their social interaction and finally organisations should create a conducive work condition for both gender to enhance their teamwork.
