Effects of Nematode (ascaris) on Human and It's Control

 The research work was carried out on the efects of Nematodes (Ascariasis) on human and it's control (A case study of a primary health care center in lfe-North Local Government, Osun State). In aim to describe the effects of Nematodes (Ascariasis) in the study area, to identify and Isolate nematode in the study area, to know the in vitro control of parasitic nematodes using the necessary drugs in the study area, to determine the efficiency of drugs used to suppress the toxicity of nematode in the study area.                 For the study, the research work adopted sampling techniques were one hundred (100) questionnaires was distributed to the respondents from Ife-North Local Government. The data obtained were analyzed using distribution table with simple perecentage, frequency, the sample of this study includes those that were able to provide first hand information on the research topic between age of l8 to 36 and above.         Findings shows effectiveness of preventive measures in reducing the incidence of parasitic nematodes (Ascaris) infections infected populations and also examine the factors contributing to the spread of (Ascariasis) in human. Researcher recommends both parents and teachers, should express various personal habits, an action that helps promote health as well as understanding the importance of accessing reliable health information.
