Role of Print Media in Creating Awareness Against Drug Abuse Among Bouesti Students

Abstract
This study investigates the role of print media in creating awareness against drug abuse among BOUESTI students. Guided by the Agenda-Setting Theory, the study adopted a survey method. Questionnaires were distributed to selected students, and data were analyzed using frequency tables and percentages. Findings show that print media, including newspapers, magazines, and posters, are effective in informing students about the dangers of drug abuse. However, low readership and poor access reduce their impact. The study recommends revitalizing campus print campaigns and integrating anti-drug messages into student publications.
