Effect of Students’ Related Factors on Academic Performance in Ekiti State University

Abstract

This study sought to find out the impact of student related factors on academic performance determined using Taro Yammane (1967) sampling technique which resulted to 358 questionnaire The findings of the results that, the R (correlation Coefficient) gives a positive value of 0.940; Students occasionally skip lectures because their friends pressure them to, they can’t help but go sources through primary data sources using questionnaire. The study made use of selected among students of Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State. Specifically, the study evaluate performance; evaluate the effect of the combination of peer pressure, student intelligence, lifestyle and social media habits; examine the effect of student interest in learning on academic students from the faculty of management sciences and their population was 3,416 students of the (Peer pressure, Student intelligence level, and student life and social habit, and student interest in which indicates that there is a strong and positive relationship between students related factors The study also concluded base on the findings of the study, the following are concluded. intelligence improves academic performance and positively impact their intelligence.
