Abstract
The design and layout of circulation within a pharmacy play a crucial role in determining operational efficiency and customer experience. This study explores the significance of effective circulation in pharmacy spaces through a case study approach, analysing how strategic planning and design improvements can enhance workflow, reduce operational bottleneck, and improving customer satisfaction. The study examines key factors such as staff movement, customer navigation, product placement and access to services. Data was gathered through case studies, the findings highlight the importance of well-thought-out circulation patterns in optimizing the interactions between employees, customer and product. Ultimately, the study demonstrates that enhancing circulation design not only boosts efficiency but also strengthens safety protocols and ensures compliance with regulatory standards. Recommendations are provided to guide future pharmacy designs in creating more functional, accessible, and customer-friendly environment and patient care.
