Abstract

This work examined the impact of Rural Industrialization on the development of the Nigerian Economy using Nnewi, Anambra State, as the case study. For as much as development is described and sustainable in the human environment and rural development industrialization should be considered a priority, while other things follow for the statement above. It now becomes necessary that our rural areas should be industrialized so as to achieve an entire national development hence, this study evaluated the impact of rural industrialization on the development of the Nigerian economy with a particular reference to Nnewi Anambra State, the analysis drawn the impact of rural industrialization on Nnewi is developmental in the sense that.it has adversely modernized the rural areas of Nnewi. The work started with chapter one, which opens an introduction, Background of the study, Statement of the problem, objectives of the study, research questions, Statement of hypotheses, significance of the study, scope of the study, limitations of the study and definition of terms. Chapter two deals with literature view, chapter three deals with methodology, research design, population of the study, sampling techniques, sources of data collection, research instrument design, validity and reliability of measuring instrument and analysis of the data, chapter four discussed on presentation of the data, analysis of the data and interpretation of results while chapter five finally was on summary, conclusion and recommendations.
