Abstract
Healthcare institution often face challenges with manual scheduling and billing process, which can lead to overlapping shifts, underutilization of staff, and billings errors. These inefficiencies disrupt patient care, waste resources, and impact financial stability. There is a pressing need for automated system that streamline scheduling and billing for medical personnel, ensuring optimal resource allocation, timely care, and financial accuracy. This study aims to design and implement an automated scheduling and billing system specifically for healthcare personnel. The objectives are to develop a secure login module for user registration, create an automated scheduling platform to optimize shift allocation, integrate billing functionality, and implement a reporting module for transaction continuous user feedback, development was conducted in iterative sprints, with core features like scheduling and billing implemented incrementally. User feedback from healthcare staff was collected after each sprint, enabling real-time improvement and alignment with operational requirements, the resulting system provides a user friendly interface for administrations, medical staff, and billing personnel, offering optimized shift schedule, accurate billing records, and real-time transaction reports. It is recommended that institution using this system continue to gather feedback for ongoing optimization, provide regular updates to meet evolving healthcare needs, and offer training for staff to maximize system effectiveness.
