Effect of Demonstration and Lecture Methods on Academic Performance of Private Junior Secondary School Students in Ado Lga, Ekiti State

Abstract
ABSTRACTusinginferentialstatisticssuchasmultipleregression.methodonperformanceofjuniorsecondaryschoolstudentsinEkitiState.Theresearchdesignadoptedforthisstudyisdescriptivesurveyresearchdesign.Thepopulationinteractive,effectivelyfacilitatedunderstandingoftheoreticalsubjectsandcomplextopics.byleveragingtheirrespectivestrengths.Itrecommendsablendedapproachtailoredtothenatureanalyzewiththeaidoffrequencytablesandpercentages.ThehypothesesofthestudyweretestedonacademicperformanceofjuniorsecondaryschoolstudentsinEkitiState.Lastly,lecturemethodperformanceofjuniorsecondaryschoolstudentsinEkitiState,Nigeria.ThespecificobjectivesThisstudyexaminedtheeffectsofdemonstrationandlectureteachingmethodsontheacademicState.Specifically,theshowingmethod,characterizedbyteacherdemonstrations,provedhighlyThestudyconcludedthatacombinationoftheseteachingmethodsmaximizedlearningoutcomesshowedthattellingteachingmethodhassignificanteffectonacademicperformanceofjuniormethod,whichinvolvedhandsonstudentengagement,wasfoundtobemoreengagingandidealsecondaryschoolstudentsinEkitiState.Inaddition,doingteachingmethodhassignificanteffectperformanceofstudentsand,ascertainthecombinationofshowing,doing,tellingandlectureexplanationsandknowledgetransmission,enhancedcriticalthinkinganddeeplearning.Thedoingforcoveringextensivetopicswithinlimitedperiods.Lastly,thelecturemethod,althoughlessdescriptiveandinferentialstatistics.Therespondentdemographicvariablesandresponseswasweretoexaminetheimpactofshowingteachingmethod;assesstheeffectoftellingteachingeffectiveforpracticalsubjectsandsmallerclasssizes.Thetellingmethod,emphasizingspokenalsohassignificanteffectonacademicperformanceofjuniorsecondaryschoolstudentsinEkitimethod;analysetheinfluenceofdoingteachingmethod;examinehowthelecturemethodimprovesample participated in this study were 336. Data collected from this study was analyze using both of6,353studentsacross20privatejuniorsecondaryschoolsinAdo-Ekiti.ThetotalnumberofacademicperformanceofjuniorsecondaryschoolstudentsinEkitiState.FurthermoretheresultThefindingsrevealedthatshowingteachingmethodhassignificantlyinfluencedstudents'ofthesubjectandclassroomdynamicstooptimizestudents'academicperformance.
