Abstract
This paper asserts that solar-based AC power systems must become theprimary global energy source to ensure a high, universal standard of living, advocating for abundant, non-polluting power independent of Earth'sbiosphere. The work examines the complete system, from Photovoltaic(PV) fundamentals (converting sunlight to DC) and the crucial role ofinverters (DC to AC) to the necessity of battery storage for reliability. Itexplores principles of system design and optimization, including sizingcomponents and maximizing efficiency based on location. Finally, the studyassesses the challenges of grid integration and confirms the significant
