The Study of Effects of Variation of Relative Permittivity on the Efficiency of Perovskite Cells Using Scaps 1d

Abstract
Subsequently, since the first description of solar cells with power conversion efficiency of around 10% in 2012, the science and technology of perovskite photovoltaics have been systematic at a unique rate. The currently certified record efficiency of 22.1% makes perovskite the first solution-processable technology to outperform multi-crystalline and thin-film silicon. This work studied the effect of relative permittivity of the various fluorine tin oxide, electron transport layer, absorber, and hole transport layer, which has an optimum value at 1.1 eV via the batch process of the simulation software SCAPS-1D. The power efficiency was obtained to be 10.86% with Voc (V)=1.2801, Jsc (mA/CM²)=25.74 and FF=66.65%.
