Abstract
A solar-powered irrigation system uses sunlight to generate electricity, which then powers a water pump for agricultural irrigation. This system typically includes solar panels, a water pump, a charge controller, and potentially a battery for energy storage and a storage tank. Simulation software like PVSYST is used to model and analyze the system's performance, considering factors like solar irradiance, water demand, and component selection.
