Abstract
ABSTRACTThe study aimed at evaluating “The Impact of Leadership and OrganizationalBehaviour on Employees’ Productivity using First Bank Plc, Auchi as a casestudy”. Among the objectives of this study is to know if the leadership styleadopted in the bank increases employees’ productivity. A sample size of 50 wasselected using a non-probability sampling method. The researcher adopts asurvey design, and analysis was based on primary data generated through astructured questionnaire administered on respondents. The test of hypothesiswas performed using chi-square statistical test. The result arising from theprimary data tested at 0.05 co-efficient interval and degree of freedom revealedthat the leadership style adopted in First Bank Plc increases employees’productivity. The study concludes that achievement of organizational goal andobjective depends solely on the leadership style an organization adopted. Basedon the findings, recommendations were drawn that every organization should asissue of importance, ensure of getting the right leader that will man theirorganization in order to achieve their set goals/objectives.
