Abstract
This study investigates the influence of technology in the staging of Oba Koso at Bamidele Olumilua University Theatre Production Hall. It explores how technological tools such as lighting, sound, multimedia projection, and stage design enhance theatre performance and audience engagement. Using a descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through interviews, direct observation, and document analysis. The findings reveal that technology enriches the visual, auditory, and emotional experience of the audience while improving stage aesthetics and performance quality. However, challenges such as power supply, limited funding, and lack of skilled personnel persist. The study recommends institutional investment in technical infrastructure, professional training, and collaboration with digital media experts to promote modern theatre practices.
