Abstract
This project aims to focus on the design and implementation of counting system capable of
accurately counting the number of people entering and exiting a conference hall in real-time.
Traditional manual counting methods are often inaccurate and labor-intensive, hindering effective
resource management and safety measures. This project aims to address these limitations by
developing an automated solution. The proposed system utilizes a combination of sensors,
Ultrasonic sensors, to detect and track the movement of individuals entering and exiting the hall.
Data from these sensors is processed by a microcontroller, which then generates real-time
occupancy data. The system will be designed to be energy-efficient, easy to install and maintain,
and capable of integrating with existing building management systems. The expected outcomes
include a robust and accurate people-counting device that can enhance safety, optimize resource
allocation, and improve overall operational efficiency within conference halls. This research
contributes to the development of smart building technologies and has the potential to be adapted
for use in various public sp
