Abstract
This research explores the beauty and expressive power of Arabic Rhetoric Literature (al-balāghah al-ʿArabiyyah), focusing on how rhetorical devices such as simile, metaphor, and imagery are used to convey meaning and emotion in Arabic texts. The study aims to analyze selected examples from Arabic poetry and prose to highlight how rhetorical techniques enrich language and enhance artistic beauty. It also examines the contributions of classical scholars like ʿAbd al-Qāhir al-Jurjānī and al-Sakkākī, whose works laid the foundation of Arabic rhetorical theory. The findings show that rhetoric remains an essential part of Arabic literature, reflecting both intellectual depth and aesthetic value. The research concludes that understanding rhetoric helps students appreciate Arabic texts more deeply and strengthens their literary analysis skills.
